Lea Baro is a PhD student within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions - Innovation Training Network "Solidarity in Diversity". Her PhD project aims to combine affect theory and political participation for a more intersectional approach to underrepresentation of people with experiences of migration, discrimination and racism. Due to her interdisciplinary background (M.Sc. Social Science, M.Sc. Psychology, B.Sc. Politics, Psychology, Law & Economics) she mainly uses mixed-methods designs and has a special interest in participatory and creative methodologies. In addition to research activities with NGOs, she has mainly conducted research on the political dimensions of mental health and therapy in the context of migration.
