Dr Rob Sharp is a Lecturer in Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Sussex (UK). He is currently working on a research project funded by the British Academy/Leverhulme Trust considering the dimensions of solidarity as they have progressed in relation to those displaced by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The project considers offline/online solidarity in cultural and community organisations in Berlin and Warsaw. You can find out more about him here.
He is a Fellow at DeZIM (February 2024 – June 2024) and at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw with whom he is collaborating. In addition, he is currently engaged with partners in the UK including the Imperial War Museum and Migration Museum (UK) in order to codify participatory practice with refugees in a separate AHRC-funded project, which this research will inform.
