Racism and discrimination are not fringe phenomena, but rather affect a large part of the population. This NaDiRa Report follows on from the initial study Racist Realities. It addresses the experiences of people in Germany regarding discrimination and racism and also highlights structural barriers in society. Based on representative surveys and supplemented by qualitative studies, it looks at both overall perspectives and the perspectives of those affected by racism. The focus of this report is on the topic of health and healthcare in relation to racism and discrimination. The current findings of the NaDiRa.panel and other NaDiRa research projects lead directly to recommendations for action for policymakers and healthcare stakeholders.
