Janice-Joyce Oikhala

Janice-Joyce Oikhala has been with the DeZIM Institute since February 2026. She manages the secretariat and supports the administrative department and the library.

She studied political science and completed an interdisciplinary master's degree in Professional Public Decision Making (politics, economics, law). She focused particularly on the topics of social inclusion and political participation. She also worked in the secretariat at the University of Bremen.

In addition, she has many years of experience supporting civil society projects on anti-racism and helping young refugees.
