Johanna Kechout worked as a research associate at the German Center for Integration and Migration Research (DeZIM) as part of the National Monitoring of Discrimination and Racism (NaDiRa). Her research interests include the sociology of work and critical migration studies in conjunction with racism research. She is currently working on a study investigating racism and work in the nursing sector and recently contributed to a research project focused on anti-discrimination counselling in Germany.
She studied Social Sciences at the Humboldt University in Berlin and at the Goethe University in Frankfurt as well as at Sciences Po Paris and the University of Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV).
