Nelly Reinstorf is a political sociologist who studied International Relations at Leiden University and the Universidad de Chile (B.Sc.), and Social Sciences at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Universidad de Salamanca (M.A.). As part of the DeZIM Violence Protection Monitor, she focuses on protection and participation in refugee accommodations and contributes to the Federal Initiative “Protection of Refugees in Refugee Accommodations”. Her interdisciplinary research interests include institutional structures, power relations, and social conflict in the context of forced migration and asylum.
