Prof. Dr. Manfred Oberlechner-Duval

Prof. Dr. Manfred Oberlechner-Duval is Professor of Sociology and Migration Education at the Salzburg University of Education Stefan Zweig (https://phsalzburg.at/person/manfred-oberlechner-duval/). Visiting research fellowships have taken him to the Jewish Museum Foundation Berlin and the Institute for Social Research (IfS) at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt, among others, and he has been a visiting researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He is a nominated member of the Council for Migration (RfM), Berlin, a member of the Austrian Society for Research and Development in Education (ÖFEB), and a member of the Austrian Sociological Association (ÖGS), Section for Migration and Racism Research. He has worked for the European Migration Committee of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. He was a contract assistant at the Mozarteum University of the Arts and Integration and Migration Coordinator at the Salzburg Provincial Government. Today he teaches at the Université de Lorraine, Université de Strasbourg, Paris-Lodron University Salzburg, Mozarteum University of Art and Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. He is the editor, co-editor and author of numerous publications.
