Mirna El Masri is a Research Associate at the Research Data Centre (FDZ) of the German Center for Integration and Migration Research (DeZIM). She coordinates and drives the conceptual development of research data management for quantitative surveys. Her work focuses on structuring and documenting metadata according to the DDI standard using specialized software solutions. She also oversees access to sensitive research data and ensures adherence to data protection and research ethics regulations.
Previously, she worked at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) on the project 'Monitoring System and Transfer Platform Radicalisation' (MOTRA). There, she conducted research on the empirical measurement of radicalisation trends in Germany, particularly in the context of international conflicts.
