
Nico Schlösser

Nico Schlösser is a doctoral fellow at the Institute of Teacher Education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. Studied in Cologne, Caen (France), Freiburg and Saint Louis (USA). First state examination (German, French, history) and MA in Freiburg, second state examination in Stadthagen. Teaching and leadership experience at schools in Germany and Norway since 2010, also teaching at NTNU's Institute of Language and Literature since 2022. Nico Schlösser`s doctoral project is dedicated to representations of community in textbooks for German and Norwegian as a foreign/second language as part of a multimodal critical discourse analysis. As a fellow at DeZIM, Nico Schlösser is also researching anti-discrimination and anti-racism as a didactic perspective in dealing with language textbooks.
