Volker Knoll-Hoyer

Volker Knoll-Hoyer has been Head of Administration at the DeZIM Institute since 2018. In accordance with the statutes of DeZIM e.V., he is a member of the DeZIM Board of Directors and deputy to the Institute's management. As Administrative Director and Budget Officer, Mr Knoll-Hoyer manages the Institute's administration with the areas of Human Resources, Finance & External Funding, Purchasing & Procurement and IT Administration.
Most recently, he was Head of Administration at the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics, Leibniz Institute in the Berlin Research Alliance. Mr Knoll-Hoyer studied at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich, the Berlin School of Economics and Law and Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge, graduating with a degree in Social Pedagogy (univ.) in 2004 and a Master of Business Administration in 2010.
