We are presenting the new study “Pathways to Anti-Discrimination Counseling—Experiences and Challenges from the Perspective of Those Affected,” which was funded by the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency (ADS) as part of a grant to the German Center for Integration and Migration Research (DeZIM).

Using an exploratory, multi-method research design, the study examines the perspectives of those affected on anti-discrimination counseling (AD counseling). Specifically, it focuses on how discrimination is addressed, as well as the pathways to and barriers to counseling services. This reveals various difficulties and challenges for those affected, which are linked not least to a lack of capacity at AD counseling centers.  As part of the DeZIM Lunch_Discussion, we would like to discuss these and other findings, as well as the resulting recommendations for action, with you and other experts in the field of anti-discrimination counseling. Your perspective would be of great value to this discussion, and we would be delighted to welcome you as a participant.
