Workshop for civil society: Questionnaire construction & surveys with LimeSurvey

On 14 and 15 November, interested parties from civil society learned how to create online questionnaires that meet scientific standards.

On 14 and 15 November, the methodology consultancy of the DeZIM cluster "Data-Method-Monitoring" offered a free workshop for people from civil society organizations who would like to conduct their own surveys. Participants learned how to create questionnaires with which they can test their questions and hypotheses.

After an introduction to the basics of questionnaire construction, the participants developed a small sample survey. In the next step, they learned how to use the online survey tool LimeSurvey to create questionnaires and conduct online surveys that meet scientific standards.

The workshop was aimed at people from civil society who would like to conduct surveys but have not yet had the opportunity to deal with the topic, as well as people with basic knowledge who would like to refresh or deepen their knowledge.
