E-mail: kalter(at)dezim-institut.de fon: 0049 (0)30-200754-108 // Sekretariat: -111Prof. Dr. Frank Kalter is a founding board member of the German Center for Integration and Migration Research (DeZIM) e.V., Professor of General Sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim, and Project Director at the Mannheim Center for European Social Research (MZES). His research focuses primarily on the causes of migration and on processes of intergenerational integration. Other interests include formal modeling of social processes and quantitative methods. He is Principial Investigator (PI) of the "Children of Immigrants Longitudinal Survey in Four European Countries (CILS4EU)." He was Director of MZES from 2014 to 2017 and President of the European Academy of Sociology from 2011 to 2015.
Prof. Dr. Frank Kalter represents the Mannheim Center for European Social Research (MZES) in the DeZIM research community.
