Ethics Committee of the DeZIM Institute

The DeZIM Institute Ethics Committee (Committee) is a body of the DeZIM Institute that reviews research projects of DeZIM Institute scientists with regard to their ethical harmlessness.

Furthermore, the commission advises scientists of the DeZIM Institute on request on the ethical risks of their research. It also has the possibility to independently promote research ethical reflection and discourse on research ethical issues at the DeZIM Institute through suitable formats.

The regulations of the Ethics Committee govern the work of the committee as well as the ethics procedure for research projects at the DeZIM Institute. Furthermore, the regulations are intended to encourage all persons working scientifically at the DeZIM Institute to reflect on the ethical implications and potential risks of their research.
