Denis Zeković is a sociologist. After studying sociology, political science and Islamic studies at the University of Tübingen, he continued his studies at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). There he completed the Research Master International Development Studies.

As part of his master's thesis, he was part of the VISION project in the Department of Integration from June 2022 to January 2023. From February 2023, he continued working with the team, mainly looking at the local effects of political decision-making in the EU multi-level system. He was also a student assistant in the Canoo project. Here he conducted interviews with experts and refugees of different statuses. He also conducted policy analyses with a focus on integration concepts. From September 2023, he continued his work as a researcher. In a project on resilient municipalities, he and the team conduct workshops with integration officers throughout Germany.

In addition to interviews, he also uses participatory mapping and quantitative text analysis.
