Online hate and cyberbullying are not isolated problems. Rather, they are pressing challenges that affect us all as members of the digital society. Hate comments and hate speech can have a significant impact on the lives and mental health of those affected. They contribute to the division of our society. 

That's why it's important that we take an active stance against online hate and cyberbullying and work together to find ways to make the digital world a safer place.  

We are delighted to welcome Anna-Lena von Hodenberg, founder of "HateAid". She will give us an insight into what her organization does to combat online hate and create a safer digital environment. Afterwards, we will discuss together how we can contribute to combating hate and hate speech online and promoting a respectful online community.

About HateAid: 

HateAid is a non-profit organization that focuses on combating digital hate crimes and supporting victims of online bullying. HateAid's work includes legal advice, psychosocial support and educational services. The organization is committed to protecting the rights and safety of online victims while raising awareness of the negative effects of cyberbullying and hate speech. HateAid's key demands include strengthening law enforcement in the area of digital hate crime, promoting media literacy and the responsible use of online communication, and creating a friendlier and safer online community for all.
