Staff Unit Scientific Direction of the DeZIM Institute

The Staff Unit Scientific Direction of the German Center for Integration and Migration Research (DeZIM) e.V. supports the scientific director in her work. The unit is responsible for science management, research planning and quality assurance, coordinates the networking of the DeZIM research community and the exchange with stakeholders, is responsible for science communication and the public image of the institute, and manages the transfer of the research results of the DeZIM institute to the scientific community, politics, civil society, the media and the general public.

The Communication and Knowledge Transfer Unit is part of the Staff Unit Scientific Direction and is responsible for the public relations and science communication formats of the DeZIM Institute. These formats range from knowledge transfer events for different target groups to various publications (DeZIMinutes, Research Notes, etc.) of the DeZIM Institute and social media activities. The Communication and Knowledge Transfer Unit supports the DeZIM Institute's departments and work areas in preparing and translating the results of their research for various target groups.
